Weekly Wrapup
New listings were up a whooping 36% this past week over Thanksgiving week. But don’t get too excited, it was the second slowest week of the year for new listings.
We did get close to writing an offer this week but held back once we inspected the home and found out that the basement didn’t have proper damage and had water damage, in addition to a busted sewer.
Other than that, here are a few tidbits we picked up:
- Condo at the Vik went pending in a day, even though it had an offer deadline.
- A two bedroom condo listed at $688k that we wrote got 27 offers ended up selling for $802k cash (!!!)
- Shoreline home listed at $545k went for over $600k in just a couple days, even though it had an offer deadline.
