Weekly Wrapup
It was a busy week! Nearly 300 new listings hit the market, including two of our own; we brought on a modern log home just 10 minutes for Issaquah and brought back our listing at the Fischer Studio building, while we dropped the price on our Queen Anne view condo and Space Needle view condo at the Gallery. With so many new listings a lot caught our eye! A $6.75m Enatai contemporary, a custom built home on Queen Anne with great west views, a Clyde Hill NW contemporary, a nicely updated unit at the Escala with exposed concrete ceilings, a mid-century modern with views on Magnolia and a funky live/work artist space. And finally, here’s a loft-y contemporary ski cabin close to Mount Baker. We also wrote a couple offers this week and they were both competitive with the homes going for nearly 5% over their list prices. So if you’re looking at newly listed single-family homes, and some well priced older townhomes, expect competition. Resale condos aren’t competitive right now, but having helped a number of buyers at Emerald’s launch last weekend, we know the good units there are moving fast. In other news, KODA broke ground, though still unclear when their sales center is opening and Daniels’ 800 Columbia condo tower will break ground in May. And some great news out of Olympia, Washington condo reform gains steam amid shortage of affordable homeownership options. |
