Weekly Wrapup: Market Still Bonkers, And it is *December*
Big news, the NHL may be coming to Seattle as early as the 2020/2021 season! As a Canadian still playing adult hockey once a week, I couldn’t be more excited and will put money down for season tickets as soon as the season ticket drive starts :).
Having 23 players making an average of nearly $3m a year, it’ll likely inject a little more life in our luxury market. Will be interesting to see if the few condo developers, like the Emerald, adapt and add some larger units.
In terms of the market, it is still super competitive! We wrote an offer on this West Seattle home listed at $589k. The home received 5 offers and sold for more than $640k, which is crazy, because a home a few homes away sold a few months ago for $575k and it was also updated plus had a two-car garage.
