Weekly Wrapup: Prices Up, 358 New Listings
Wild weather today!
The big news this week is the single family housing market heated up in March with prices up 3.8% from February, but still $40,000 below where they were last March. For condos, prices were up 11% from February. Speaking of condos, the update on new construction is First Light is in the lead with ~54% sold, followed by Spire at ~20% and Emerald at ~10%. Though we were at Emerald today and they had a steady stream of people. …Here’s our full update on new construction around the region.
With 358 new listings this past week, there were a lot of great ones! Our fave is this E Cobb designed home in Meydenbauer, followed by a Fred Bassetti mid-century modern in Innis Arden (but it is already pending.) Other stand-out newer homes are a corner unit at the Madison Lofts and a contemporary home in Fauntleroy. Speaking of modern homes, mark your calendar, the Seattle Modern Home Tour is coming up.
Mid-century fans, check out this home in Laurelhurst by Roger Gotteland, this one in Kirkland with a very vaulted ceiling, or this one in Seward Park.
While not for sale, this remodel of a 1960s condo is truly transformative!
