Seattle weekly wrap-up: new listings take a breather
It is discouraging for buyers to see that new listings are down 5% week-over-week. Hopefully, it is just an anomaly and we continue to see listings build through April and May (at least we have more new listings than the Eastside). Meanwhile, the number of homes going under contract was down 12%. Of course, the market is still bonkers; today we had two clients make solid well-above asking offers waiving all contingencies and apparently that wasn’t enough.
Our fave new listings is a thoughtful remodeled Ralph Anderson on Queen Anne. We saw it tonight. It is cool. If you’re looking for a lightly touched mid-century check out this split-level in Seward Park, or this untouched in Bellevue (check out the bathroom flooring!). The winner of the most interesting roof line goes to this 1968 home in Gig Harbor. And remarkably this Redmond house that has it all for $8m went pending in just 3 days!
Looking for remodel inspiration? Our clients’ Blue Ridge view home is now featured on Board & Vellum’s site. It turned out amazing! Speaking of remodels, ours has two months to go. The metal roof went on today.
