Weekly Wrapup: Record Number of New Listings This Week
The big news this week is that bike share bikes are the latest staging fad. Just kidding, the news is that we very surprisingly set a record for number of new listings in a week. I thought those days were behind us and it’d all be downhill from here! The other big news this week is that a project we thought would be apartments will now be a 352-unit condo tower at 600 Wall St.
There’s no interior photos, but without seeing inside it is probably safe to call this $45m Hunts Point modern home designed by Jim Olson the home of the week. And with a price like that, it makes this $6m George Suyama designed home on Queen Anne look cheap! Which makes this waterfront remodel by rock photographer Kevin Westenberg look cheap at $2.85m.

In terms of offer writing this week, we wrote 3 and struck out on all of them!
- Admiral like-new construction listed at $965k got at least two offers and went somewhere over a million to a no contingency offer that likely early released earnest money
- Offered list price + modest escalator on a $460k Capitol Hill condo. They didn’t accept or counter our offer but said they will be increasing the list price to $520k, but haven’t done so yet (!?)
- Queen Anne High School condo listed at $470k had 4 offers and went over $500k yesterday
p.s. know anyone who could demo a cork floor and level the subfloor?
