Seattle weekly wrap-up: post Thanksgiving bump

By December 7, 2021

Market Report

After seeing just 66 new listings in Seattle the week of Thanksgiving, we saw 157 new listings last week. Buyers, enjoy this last bump of new listings as things are going to quickly trail off as we head deeper into the holidays. Sellers, the market is bonkers. For instance, we heard a place in Ravenna had 29 offers!

Of those new listings, the ones that caught our eye – a new View Ridge home that went pending quickly at $2.85m, a custom home in Magnolia at $3.2m, and a loft on 19th. Mid century fans, check out this $2.9m one on Clyde Hill, one for $2.1m on Mercer Island and finally one for $1.5m in Lake Forest Park.

In the islands, I dig this NW-style waterfront home from the early 70s on Brown Island, a waterfront midcentury on Camano, and here’s a project on Bainbridge Island one way or another.

In condo news – First Light is finally coming out of the ground, Infinity Shore Club now has 9 units pending, and the PSBJ has a theory why Seattle House is stalled.

Want to crash our Urban Living holiday party on the 19th? Just reply, I’d be happy to send you an invite to come skating with us and Santa at the Kraken Community Iceplex from 11 to 1 pm.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
